Laicey's Birth Story

So for those of you who don't know I had  my third daughter Laicey at home with a midwife. It was quite the experience. It was wonderful, exciting, and a little crazy.  I would defiantly do it at home again with the help of my mom and my midwife Lydi Owen.

It was very relaxing and comforting to be at home. I loved that my other two girls got to be here as well and welcome their new baby sister. Not to mention the recovery was so much easier and less painful then I was expecting.

My labor and delivery was very easy but hard at the same time and also worth every minute of it. I started have contractions on Tuesday march 26 in the early afternoon. They continued through the night and with very little sleep on my part we welcomed Laicey Selepa to world at 9:46 on Wednesday March 27. she was 8lbs 9ozs and 21 1/2 inches long. My biggest baby yet.  Also Wes went to work that morning and took a fifteen minute break to come home while I actually had Laicey. It was very needed for him to be there with me while I had her. With me every step of the way was my mom, midwife and my aunt Amy. It was the best feeling to know that I had the strength, power and courage to have my baby at home since I do not have high risk pregnancies. I do recommend having your baby at home if your comfortable and have a great midwife and support system.

The miracle of birth is one the greatest gifts from our Heavenly Father. To hold one of his sweet spirits in your hands to raise, nurture and teach is a great blessing. I am so thankful to be a mom and have three beautiful daughters.

More about us!

Just an update about what's currently going on in our lives right now. I just started working again. Which is great but I miss my babies. I have finally left lifeguarding behind me. I currently work at a Dermatologist office as front desk check -in / receptionist and I love it. It's great to be doing something new and I love not being outside this summer during our hot long summer days we have here in Vegas. Here is just an updated picture picture of me and my baby Laicey. Look at her chunky checks  (too cute).

Wes is currently only doing valet whenever they need him so hopefully he can find something full time in the near future. Here are some pictures from our family photos / maternity photos right before I had Laicey!

We need to get an updated family photo with all of us in it together. Until next time thanks for reading.

About my Family

Well to start off Wes and I got married in 2010. He is the love of my life and we were high school sweethearts. I don't know what I would do without him. He is the best husband and father that I could ask for. He is so helpful with the girls and they just love him to pieces and so do I.

We then has our first daughter Janelle Fetoai in September of 2010. She is so funny and her personality gets more and more fun everyday! She is too cute and very smart. She loves Disneyland, Mickey Mouse, Princess, Shoes, Family, and the Temple.

We then had our second daughter Kallie Aperila in January of 2012. She is very energetic and loves to Dance, Sing, Listen to Music, her Binky, Food, Mickey Mouse, her Family, and her Daddy.

Our third little girl came in March of 2013. Yes we have three little girls under the age of three. No they were not planned and yes we do have our hands full. But I wouldn't have it any other way. They are the greatest blessings I have in life.

Laicey Selepa is the cutest little baby and is growing way too fast. She has a smile that will melt your heart. Her older sisters love her to death and help whenever they can. Laicey is such a good baby and sleeps thoroughly the night. I am a lucky momma.

I am so blessed to have the family I do and I am so great full for my parents and their love and support. Here is the start of our blog and more posts to come! I hope I can keep it updated and I look forward to reading your blogs as well!
